Our Firm Is Not Cleantech, Global Manufacturing or Big Data. Can You Still Help Us?

When Does a Contingency Versus a Retained Search Approach Make Sense?

A Retained search is characterized by depth, mutual commitment and partnership.  It is best for clients who need a strategic partner to chair or work on a hiring committee, who need help with a market entry, or who have a key confidential or strategic hire that needs our full attention.  A Contingency search is characterized by breadth, openness and less commitment.  This is best for clients who are scaling rapidly, have multiple open positions and need help meeting as many good people as possible as quickly as possible.
